This is a freaking food post.
I got back from Ipoh today, I stayed over there, actually, KL.
Oh well, I went down Ipoh early in the morning on Saturday.

With grandparents & aunt ; we went Foh San for DimSum.
The usual place we'll go, because, they've real nice foods!
Had truck loads of foods over there , I managed to take a few pictures.

Egg Tarts which tasted much like heaven.

Pork pie which you call it * char siew sou*

BEEF ball. SUPER NICE , I'M TELLING YOU!
Lots of L&P sauce !

Yam cake.

Best of the best ; my all time favourite!
Had it HOT & it's fucking tasty!
Ma Lai Ko

After the breakfast, we went to have a walk around the area.
Guess what, my fucking first time seeing so much of charcoals.
They were packing it into the bag to be sold. WOW.
The oh so black thing turns me off. HAHA

Later on, we went to that oh so lame mall; the only mall in town.
Besides this, there's Jusco, which wasn't nearby.
After we left, there goes the shopping session for foods around the town.
Grandma bought alot of em, but it was us who were asking for it.
Late lunch was in town , old town street, my fav white coffee with leong fun!
Later in the afternoon, we went to the saloon for hair wash.
Rested at home, then prepared for dinner with families!
Well, the place was called * Dong Hai * in Menglembu ,
surprisingly, it was all FULL although it wasn't some wedding dinner going on.
But yet, they managed to serve VERY NICE FOODS.
Pictures of few foods below.

Four Season.

Suckling pig, the skin was super crispy. *drools*

I don't know what's the name, but it's different from what we used to have.
The fish was imported from I don't know where, according to grandpa.

The sauce of this chicken was pretty nice, unique one.
It's the shop's main dish for chicken, * Jiu Pai Kai*.

Cute prawns too rite?
Big headed prawns = dai tao ha
which means, forgetful! *points to me*
It tasted real nice with the sauce thingy.

There were more foods , around 10 dishes if I wasn't mistaken.
Well, after the dinner with family & god parents, I went off.
Drove down to KL around 11 with the god brother, one car each.
Both were his cars. We drove down for nothing.
Had party at home , a private pool party & gambling around 2am.
I brought nothing down to KL, only myself & the phone.
I've got no spare clothes & so. After that , we had mamak session.
* Hello people, you know who you are! it was nice knowing everyone *
Around 5, we drove back down to Ipoh, god parents house .

Later at 7ish, I went Cheng Beng with grandparents & all.
Dad drove down too, like , WOW, so guai . *LMAO*
Headed for breakfast later on, much foods on the table.
Left the house around 1ish, off to the town for foods again.
By that time, we bought 7 salted chickens back home.

There were both of the shops selling bean sprout chicken.
Onn Kee is owned by some of my relative
whereas dad says Lou Wong is still better, so yeah, we went.

Bean Sprouts which I find it EWW, i never liked it all these while.

Chicken kidney , I never like this too. HAHA

YES babe, this is what I love the most.
Very nice meat texture , so smooth .

Chicken feet was nice too, it tasted very nice.

Rained very heavily on the way back home.
But rain was mad, it could just be sunny at some part ,
and it could be mad heavy along.

The Cheng Beng scene.

Well, I love hectic weekends,
and I shall make the KL trip more often.
It kills time easily & its meaningful.
