The Journey

4th Day of Chinese New Year.
After those gambling , drinking & so on,
I got so bored at home, so decided to head up to Kek Lok Si.
As a Penangite, I haven't really been up there for years.
I never know how is it like up there,
all I know is, it's all light up for this festival.
Since grandma's place is just somewhere around,
which we took around 20mins to reach that place by walking.
It was all jammed by cars around.
Worse thing was, the way up to the temple was so dark.
But well, arrived up there safely.

Lanterns were all over the temple.

Lights lights & lights, imagine the electric bill for the month.

Buddha statue surrounded by red lights!

Humans to have jam to, not only traffics.

From what I've heard, there's people who commit suicide here before.

Every single corners are decorated by lights.

Bought this ticket for the tram thingy to reach the Kuan Yin place.

The work-in-progress to cover up Kuan Yin statue.

The previous statue, kind of trashed due to bad quality products.

Oh so huge & tall.

Even trees were lighted.

so happen that you're in Air Itam / Penang,
head over to this place, along Air Itam road, to the market.
This stall is @ the left hand side along the one way street from Police Station.

Mine. It's called Neslo(nescafe + milo) & nestum sprinkles.


Okay, it's actually some normal drink.
It's that there's an egg in it, but the egg will be half cooked .
With eggs, the guy add in hot milk then sugar then milo or so on.
So, it's called, Milo Telur , Neslo Telur and bla bla bla.
